Extensive Hosting Options

We currently have more than 400 internship hosts on file. These include engineering firms, IT, law (litigation), finance (securities / investments / banking), manufacturing, marketing, hospitality, international trade, events planning, professional sports management, even robotics. We cover every single field imaginable.

Thanks to our connections with internshare.com - a university internships posting service - we have preferential access to hosts, that similar outsourcing services can't get.

Monitoring is an important aspect of internship and work experience programs: both for quality control, and for marketing purposes. We engage in close monitoring of all interns thorughout their period of work. This monitoring includes on-line reports to be completed by the intern and the host company, site visits done by VI staff, follow-up visits with the internship host, and a letter of reference from the host. In many cases, we also collect video testimonials from the intern - these are done at the intern's host company, mid way through their internship.

All materials produced during monitoring - including host reference letters and videos, are available for marketing purposes.

In the rare circumstance where monitoring uncovers an issue between an intern and their host company, we move to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Most problems can be solved by discussion - though when required, we will re-place an intern at another company at no additional charge.
